    Hello Nurul,
    For sdn bhd company accounting issue,
    1. do u put in to the account as a ‘rental income’?
    2. do i need to do and stamp the rental agreement for only 3 days rental?
    3. any problem when the income tax people come to audit the account?
    4. if the agreement is not stamped, will the income tax people not recognized?
    5. where can i stamp the agreement besides income tax office?

      Hi Ronald,
      I do the following but mine is enterprise.
      1) i put it as business income
      2) no there’s no need to stamp rental agreement. The rental agreement i use is just a 1 page doc, to clearly state the rules to the guest.
      3) i just show to income tax my P&L, and the receipts for my expenses eg repairs, purchase of bedsheets, toiletries etc which i put as business expense.
      4) if you are operating this as a business, then you will not classify it as rental income, hence it is treated differently than normal house rental
      5) from my knowledge, house rental agreement stamping is usually at Pejabat Daerah.
